One of the late creator’s final projects, Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of the Light is years in the making. It tells the story of an ordinary American teenager, Cameron Ackerson, whose life becomes intertwined with the enigmatic young woman Nia. As Cameron hunts for YouTube fame in the Great Lakes Triangle, he finds something quite unexpected. Granted new powers that allow him to ‘see’ a new reality, Cameron and Nia thrive to create a better online universe. Their actions, however, are being watched by a sinister organisation. And that’s not even mentioning an even more dangerous intergalactic threat that looms overhead.
Audible’s official press release said: “Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light is one of the cultural icon’s final collaborations and returns him to his creative roots as he explores the complex relationship between humankind, science and technology.”
Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light is co-written by Kat Rosenfield and co-created by Luke Lieberman and Ryan Silbert. It is intended as the first of a series, which will continue to move forward in Lee’s memory.
