WATCH: Woody Allen’s Amazon series ‘Crisis in Six Scenes’ gets first trailer
The first trailer for Woody Allen’s upcoming Amazon Studios series Crisis in Six Scenes is here. And Miley Cyrus is nowhere in sight.
Seen sitting in a barber’s chair as fictional author Sidney Montzinger, the ever controversial Allen – who’s also created and directed the series – doesn’t appear to be stretching himself too far from his usual acting palette.
Crisis in Six Scenes has been described by Amazon as a comedy that takes place in the 1960s during turbulent times in the United States, and follows a middle class suburban family that is visited by a guest who turns their household completely upside down.
At a guess, said disruptive guest will be played by Cyrus, who has been snapped on set in free-spirited hippie attire that’s sure to send a shiver down any conservative parent’s spine. However we’ll have to wait to see Miley in action, as she doesn’t crop up in the one and a half minute trailer.
Crisis in Six Scenes starring Woody Allen, Miley Cyrus, Rachel Brosnahan, John Magaro and Elaine May is due to premiere on Amazon this September 30th.
Meanwhile, Allen’s latest feature film, Café Society, is currently in cinemas, and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively, Corey Stoll, and Steve Carell.
