Strictly’s Ed Balls finally responds to Honey G’s dance-off request on X Factor
Much to our complete devastation, Ed Balls has declined the dance-off request from X Factor‘s Honey G.
Honey G decided to settle the beef between herself and Ed during the X Factor live show on Saturday by challenging the Strictly Come Dancing contestant to a dance-off.
A rivalry formed between the two contestants last week when Ed implied he was at least getting better at dancing, unlike Honey G’s rapping. He told The Daily Star newspaper: “I’m definitely aware of Honey G. I’ve seen a couple of YouTube videos.

However, Honey G hit back at the Strictly star, saying: “Haters are always gonna hate! I just want to go all the way to the final and win it.”
Following her live mash-up performance of “It’s Like That” by Jason Nevins and “Gettin’ Jiggy With It” by Will Smith, Honey put forth her challenge to Ed.
Unfortunately, Ed revealed on ITV’s Lorraine that he intended to avoid any dance offs for the time being, however. When questioned about Honey G’s request, he said: “I’ve spent 20 weeks trying to avoid the dance-off – and so far I have…
“I’m afraid, my answer is that I’m trying to avoid dance-offs at the moment.”
A great shame. The mental image alone is truly glorious.
Honey G appeared in the bottom two for the first time on Sunday, but managed to keep her place in the competition after spitting some Missy Elliot bars in the sing-off. Meanwhile, Ed Balls escaped the bottom two with his latest Strictly routine, which saw him descending from the ceiling on a flaming piano…
