Strictly Come Dancing and X Factor will not clash this weekend
They told us we couldn’t have our cake and eat it too, but that appears to be a lie.
Strictly Come Dancing and the X Factor will not clash this weekend, it has been revealed. Saturday night will see Strictly Come Dancing show begin at 6.30pm on BBC One, while X Factor will start at 8pm on ITV as Strictly finishes. It’s a win win for entertainment fans!
Those who need more Strictly will be delighted to learn that the first live show will actually take place on Friday evening instead, showcasing the talents of six of the fifteen celebrities and their partners. The second episode, on Saturday, will see the remaining nine couples perform.
None of the couples will be eliminated in this first week, which may mean the next Saturday night show is crowded.
Meanwhile, the X Factor will continue to air a second show on Sunday night from 7pm to 9pm on ITV. Both the Saturday and Sunday night shows will reveal the results of the dreaded Six Chair Challenge, in which hopefuls must compete for a place in the Judges’ Houses.
Well, that’s our weekend television viewing sorted.
The X Factor will air Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 7pm.
