Speidi threaten to quit hours before Celebrity Big Brother launch night
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have reportedly threatened to quit just hours ahead of the Celebrity Big Brother live launch tonight.
The infamous reality television couple are expected to be a part of the line-up for the new series of Celebrity Big Brother, which is returning tonight (Tuesday) at 9pm on Channel 5.
Having already appeared on the show as housemates in 2013, it is rumoured that Speidi will be making a comeback for the All Stars v New Stars series this year in which previous contestants will be battling it out against a fresh batch of new celebrities.
The pair’s appearance seemed a dead cert after Spencer was pictured at the Big Brother house yesterday. However, now the stars have allegedly threatened to walk away from the show.
The Daily Star newspaper reported that Spencer and Heidi had a run in with producers after demanding extra food perks to be added to their contract.
A source said: “We’re hours away from launch and now Speidi have thrown a spanner in the works.
“They’re clearly up to their old tricks again.”
Apparently, Speidi made the unusual request that regular supplies of fish and chips should be delivered to them as part of their contract. The two celebrities then proceeded to throw a fit of rage when their demand was denied.
The pair have gone down as one of the most iconic housemates to have ever entered the CBB house after their dramatic temper tantrums and sneaky tactics in the 2013 series. So we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the couple’s love of fish and chips won’t force them to get a return flight back to the States!
Other ‘All Star’ housemates on the rumoured line-up include Austin Armacost, Coleen Nolan, James Jordan, Calum Best, Nicola McLean and Jasmine Waltz.
It is suspected that the new celebrity housemates might include Jamie O’Hara, Angie Best, Ray J, Bianca Gascoigne, Brandon Block and Stacy Francis.
Celebrity Big Brother returns tonight (Tuesday) on Channel 5 at 9pm.
