Rupert Everett Joins The Musketeers
Superstar thespian Rupert Everett has been confirmed to play the latest villain on BBC One’s The Musketeers.
Everett will play Louis XVIII’s illegitimate brother, Philippe Achille, in the show’s upcoming third season.
“I love the show and am really looking forward to working with the team,” said the 55-year-old actor, who is currently on the big screen in period film A Royal Night Out.
Matthew McNulty of Jamaica Inn fame will also appear in the 2016 series as the villainous money lender-cum-vicious criminal Lucien Grimaud.
Sounds like the Musketeers will have a lot of trouble on their hands next season!
New episodes of The Musketeers have been shooting in Prague since April.
