Queen of the Jungle Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo talks about life since leaving I’m A Celebrity
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner has revealed what life has been like since leaving the jungle.
Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo appeared on This Morning today to discuss her time on the ITV series and how being crowned champion has already changed her life.
Speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, the Made In Chelsea star admitted to feeling overwhelmed since exiting camp. She said: “It’s really overwhelming.
“You become a bit institutionalised in there because as it went on there was less and less of us, so you really don’t engage with anyone apart from your campmates.
“And then going over that bridge I was a bit taken aback. I’m am normally so talkative and when it all happened I didn’t really have anything to say.”
Toff continued to describe her disbelief when she saw crowds of people waiting for her at the airport when she landed back in the UK.
“It was amazing, fans and the press as well” she said.
“And when I went through arrivals the kindness of people to come to the airport just to say hi to me.”
Toff also spoke about how she would now like to use her platform to get more people into politics.
She said: “I would like to, I’ve spoken about politics a lot over the years and my main issue that I championed was, just general engagement in politics.
“Challenge me on Twitter, if you don’t agree with me great, but tell me why you don’t agree with me.
“I think sometimes with politics, young people have become disillusioned with it because they can’t relate to it, there’s a lot of snobbery and people are a lot older.
“I think maybe people shouldn’t – some people do maybe laugh at my interest in politics a tiny bit – because reality television doesn’t tend to go hand in hand, and maybe the blonde hair and maybe I got out quite a lot.”
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will return for a new series in 2018.
Made In Chelsea continues Monday at 9pm on E4.
