Olivia Bentley will return to Made In Chelsea following suspension over drug use video
It has been confirmed that Olivia Bentley will return to the cast of the Made In Chelsea series, following her recent suspension over a drug video scandal.
During November 2016, a video was released by The Sun newspaper showing the MIC star taking what looked like cocaine at a party.
The video captured Olivia at a house after a wild night out. Snorting a white powder from the table through a rolled up banknote, Olivia could be heard boasting to the other party-goers: “I’m on a TV show so people write s**t all the time. I quite like reading the articles.”
A reported witness at the party in question had told the newspaper: “She brazenly sat there doing drugs in front of a roomful of people.
“She comes across as a bit of a goody two shoes, so I couldn’t believe it.
“I’d have thought she’d be more careful. She did it like it was the most normal thing in the world.”
The source added: “There were about 30 people there. Because it was in Chelsea, her stomping ground, she knew most of them.
“But there were people she didn’t know. I was shocked she’d do drugs in front of them.
“She’ll regret it if she is booted off the show.”
The Chelsea-based star faced the axe from the show and a spokesperson for MIC later announced: “Olivia has been suspended from the show pending an investigation.”
However, the E4 series have now confirmed that Olivia will be returning to film for the show’s next season.
They informed The Sun: “Following a suspension she has returned to the show”.
She will be joining the rest of the cast that stars the likes of Jamie Laing, Louise Thompson, Binky Felstead and Ollie Locke, for the latest series.
Made In Chelsea will return soon in 2017.
