Montana Brown quits Bear Grylls’ Celebrity Island just days after landing for filming
Love Island star Montana Brown has quit Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls just days after landing on location to film.
The reality TV star has walked from the Channel 4 series after reportedly claiming it was “too hard”.
An insider told The Sun Online: “Montana has walked of the show, she’s had enough.”
Producers allegedly fought hard to persuade Montana to stay, knowing she’d be a hit with viewers after appearing on popular ITV2 series Love Island.
“They tried to persuade her to stay but her mind was made up, once she decided the show was too tough for her she knew there was no point staying,” the source added.
“It’s the toughest reality show out there and she was up against some incredibly difficult challenges, and she eventually decided she just couldn’t hack it, it was too hard for her, so she walked.”
Montana was set to appear on the show alongside TOWIE star Pete Wicks, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp and Emmerdale‘s Roxanne Pallett.
Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls returns soon on Channel 4.
