Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson and Tiffany Watson confirm split
Made In Chelsea couple Sam Thompson and Tiffany Watson will be taking a break from their relationship this summer.
Sam and Tiff’s relationship was definitely under a lot of strain in the last series of MIC, with the finale episode airing last night (Monday, May 29). The pair had already split a number of times following cheating allegations and recently attended couples’ therapy to try and sort out their issues.
Now, the pair have decided to temporarily break things off in order to give one another some breathing space. Speaking on the Made In Chelsea: End of Season party, Sam told host Rick Edwards: “We’re kind of going on a summer break.”
When asked if they were still in a relationship, Tiff explained: “We are together at the moment, but we’ve scheduled in a break.”
The duo plan to split after their upcoming romantic holiday together, although they both insisted the break-up will not be permanent.
“I want to marry Tiff, I know I’m going to have kids with her. I’m just very aware of how young I am,” Sam said.
Tiff added: “I want to go on holiday with my friends, I want to do my own thing for a bit.”
The two have even agreed they are allowed to get with other people once their scheduled break begins. However, Tiff has laid down firm ground rules about who is off limits.
She said: “Friends are obviously [banned].
“If I found out Sam got with Olivia [Bentley] I wouldn’t be best pleased. If it’s a random girl in Ibiza, I wouldn’t care.”
Sam’s sister Louise Thompson supported the decision and said the temporary break was “very brave”.
“I think they are very brave, but they’ve had a lot of time to think about this decision,” she confessed.
“I obviously live with Sam, I spend a lot of time with Tiff. We’ve become so close.”
Made In Chelsea will return later this year to E4.
