Kelly Brook admits male co-stars are often “threatened” by her
Kelly Brook has revealed the shocking difference between working with men and women in the industry.
Appearing on the Loose Women panel, Kelly admitted male co-stars have often used her a “scapegoat” for when TV shows have failed.
“Most of my co-stars have been men and I find that they have been threatened by women,” she said.
“And over the years, especially in television, I’ve found that the only problems I’ve had is with co-hosts.”
Kelly continued: “I’ve found that the women I work with are supportive and loving and understand what it’s like to be a woman in a male-dominated environment, how strong you have to be, that you’ve got to have a thick skin.
“And over the years, I’ve found that some of the guys I’ve worked with, actually, if shows have been failing or not working and they need a scapegoat, it’s always me. Because I’m the bimbo.”
The former Celebrity Love Island host added how she been unfairly given the axe from certain TV shows in the past.
“I’ve been sacked on numerous jobs because of ‘not being capable’,” she said, “but the fact is that it’s a rubbish show and the producers aren’t capable but I’m the one that gets the blame!”
