Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond’s Amazon Prime car show finally has a name!
After months of waiting and a whole host of bizarre rumours (Gear Knobs anyone?) the former Top Gear trio have announced the new name for their Amazon Prime show…
The Grand Tour
It has been revealed that each episode of the show will come from a “massive tent” with a “different crowd” and “different view” each week. Clarkson commented that as they will be travelling the world with their tent, they might as well call it The Grand Tour.
James May regrets that he didn’t get to name the show “Nigel” or “Roger”, stating that they needed a name and those are names. We’re quite glad Jeremy put him in his place with those suggestions…
The show will be airing this autumn and Amazon customers across the globe will have the chance to attend the filming in different locations. Tickets are planned to be released in a series of prize draws this summer.
Facebook and Twitter accounts for the show have now officially gone live, so check them out for the latest updates.
