Gordon Ramsay to return to UK screens
Gordon Ramsay is planning a return to British television, after spending the last few years in the US.
The popular TV chef, known for his temper tantrums on Hell’s Kitchen, Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares and The F Word, is reportedly looking to return to UK screens after spending the last few years increasing his profile Stateside and clearing his debts.
According to The Sun newspaper, a source said: “Gordon has launched his own production company to make new scripted and unscripted TV shows.
“He has been away from UK screens for years trying to increase his profile in the US and clear his debts, but he is ready to return now.”
The source says Ramsay is keen to reboot his shows Kitchen Nightmares and The F Word on Channel 4, as well as a heap of other projects with other broadcasters.
They continued: “He’s negotiating with several broadcasters to bring back Kitchen Nightmares and The F Word and there are lots of new ideas for shows as well.
“This time he wants to keep his options open and probably won’t sign an exclusive arrangement like before with Channel 4. He is speaking to ITV, the BBC and Sky and they are all interested to hear his ideas.
“It’s a really exciting time and he can’t wait to get back to Britain.”
Ramsay is currently a judge on American Masterchef.
