Get in the festive spirit with Lifetime Christmas Movies
Everybody knows that one of the best things about the festive season is indulging in all the feel-good Christmas films. Well, luckily for you, Lifetime is treating viewers to a quality Christmas movie every Sunday at 8pm to get you in the spirit. So cosy up, grab a glass of eggnog and enjoy.
Wrapped up in Christmas – Sunday 10 December, 8pm
Starring Fresh Prince of Bel Air‘s Tatyana Ali and Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Brendan Fehr, Wrapped up in Christmas tells the tale of Town Centre Mall manager Heather, who is forced to be the Christmas Grinch and shut down any under-performing stores.
It isn’t long before she meets Ryan, who unbeknownst to her is the mall’s Santa, and the two quickly start to fall for each other. However, they have no idea of one another’s true identity, with Heather being tasked to close his aunt’s store and Ryan embarrassed to reveal his occupation as a part-time Father Christmas.
Christmas in Mississippi – Sunday 17 December, 8pm
Make sure you don’t miss out on the world premiere of this Christmas movie, starring Jana Kramer, Wes Brown, Faith Ford, Barry Bostwick, and Richard Karn.
The film focusses on Holly Logan, a photographer who volunteers to help resurrect the town’s traditional holiday light show for the first time since a hurricane struck five years previously. But Holly’s in for a nasty surprise when she realises the festival is run by the high school love who broke her heart. Realising she’ll be stuck with him for the next few days, will Holly be able to leave the past behind or will his presence bring back all those old feelings once again?
A Very Merry Toy Store – Sunday 24 December, 8pm
Finally, Lifetime will air the brilliant A Very Merry Toy Store on Christmas Eve to get you well and truly in the mood for the following big day.
Young, single mother, Connie Forrester (Melissa Joan Hart, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch), and Will DiNova (Mario Lopez, Holiday in Handcuffs) each run a small, family-owned toy stores in Connecticut. The two have always been business rivals, but both of their livelihoods fall into jeopardy when the big box toy store “Roy’s Toys” has its grand opening right before Christmas.
Teaming together, Connie and Will put their differences aside and set out to save their stores together. And there may just be a romance that develops along the way…
