The first male Celebrity Big Brother housemate has been revealed
Liverpool football star John Barnes has been confirmed as the first male housemate to join the Celebrity Big Brother 2018 line-up.
The house is about to be introduced to its first male contestant of the series, after it was revealed last night that former Liverpool football player John Barnes will enter the CBB digs this Friday (January 5).
His entrance will follow a live eviction in which one celebrity will be forced to exit the show based on a public vote.
Barnes’ appearance was announced by Rylan Clark-Neal on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side last night after the Celebrity Big Brother launch show, which saw an all-female line-up to mark the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote.
John will be joining former Tory MP Ann Widdecombe, novelist and former editor of The Lady Rachel Johnson, newsreader India Willoughby, Coronation Street‘s Amanda Barrie, detective Maggie Oliver, Keeping Up With The Kardashians‘ Malika Haqq, Made In Chelsea star Ashley James and glamour model Jess Impiazzi.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.
