Episode titles released for creepy new Netflix thriller The OA
The trailer for the upcoming new Netflix Original The OA has hit… and it looks epic!
The OA is a new original series from Netflix about a blind woman, Prairie Johnson, who reappears after a seven-year disappearance with her vision restored. The synopsis doesn’t give away much more than that, and neither does the trailer. We do know one thing, however, that Prairie “remembers everything”.
The mystery surrounding the new show has had television fans biting their nails in anticipation for what the show could be about – or indeed any details about The OA before it hits on December 16.
We do, however, know one thing. Or rather, seven things.
Seven episode titles have already been revealed for the new series, and they could be illuminating. These are as follows:
2. New Colossus
6. Garden of Forking
7. Empire of Light
The first one makes a lot of sense. ‘Homecoming’ obviously refers to the return of Prairies from wherever she has been. Titles like ‘New Colossus’, ‘Paradise’ and ‘Empire of Light’ may refer to some of the places where Prairie has been on her travels. ‘Garden of Forking’, although it sounds like a bad D-list movie, may also be some indication as to where Prairie went during her disappearance.
Titles like ‘Away’ and ‘Champion’ make less sense, but presumably ‘Champion’ refers to someone she might meet. It’s all very vague right now!
