Chris Hemsworth Returns to Home and Away

Movie star Chris Hemsworth, known for his roles in blockbusters Thor and Rush, has returned to his Summer Bay roots.

Last night the Aussie hunk, who starred as Kim Hyde in Home and Away from 2004 and 2007, added an awesome blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo to his soap CV, which already spanned 171 episodes.

In the episode which aired in Australia last night (Tuesday May 19th), Hemsworth can be seen eating in the background of the Diner, as Hannah, Denny and Phoebe have a conversation. It seems that in spite of all his Hollywood fame, Chris just couldn’t get enough of Summer Bay’s signature sandwiches!

We would love to see more Home and Away alumni paying homage to their soap beginnings.
