Charlotte Crosby makes surprise return to Loose Women after calling last appearance “worst day of my life”
Geordie Shore‘s Charlotte Crosby surprised fans with an unexpected appearance on Loose Women today (Thursday, July 13), after tweeting how the previous interview had left her “in tears”.
The reality star claimed her last appearance on the daily chat show was “the worst day of my life” following comments made by Janet Street-Porter about her cosmetic surgery.
However, Charlotte joined the panel for a second time this afternoon, alongside boyfriend Stephen Bear, and insisted she was willing to “bury the hatchet”.
She said: “I love Loose Women, I do I do. I obviously had a bit of a bad time the first time I came on, obviously it’s a good job Janet isn’t here now.
“I’m having such a great day, it’s so positive.”
Panellist Jane Moore pointed out: “In fairness to Janet, you were in a bad place at the time.”
Charlotte replied: “Janet said some bad things but I would have been upset either way. But I totally want to bury the hatchet and move on because it’s just silly.”
The original interview saw Janet probe Charlotte on why she did not seek counselling instead of resorting to cosmetic surgery. She had said: “Just to be really controversial, why didn’t you have counselling?
“Why didn’t you seek therapy to live with the face you had rather than move it round five inches?
“What I’m saying is why not talk it through?”
Charlotte explained: “I feel like I had that counselling every day from my mam before I did it, it didn’t really work.”
The star later took to Twitter to confess the remarks had left her “in tears”.
Loose Women continues weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
