Celebrity Big Brother 2017 fees REVEALED…and they’re the biggest fees ever!
The Celebrity Big Brother fees for 2017 have been revealed and it looks as though this year’s line up is the most expensive yet!
At the top of the list is Ray J, the US musician who famously dated Kim Kardashian and appeared in THAT leaked sex tape.
According to TMZ, Ray J was offered a whopping £1 million to appear on the show. Not only that, the star has been given a $30,000 allowance for flights and hotels. Phew!
The star was a high demand for Channel 5 bosses due to his famous connections. Not only is he linked to the Kardashians but he is also closely linked to many big names in the music industry, including his cousin Snoop Dogg.
Previously, CBB source told The Sun newspaper: “Kim is one of the biggest celebrities in the world and they were never going to get her but booking Ray J means they’ll get someone with proper insight into what goes on behind closed doors.”
Meanwhile, The Hills couple Spencer and Heidi Pratt, AKA Speidi, are allegedly receiving $700,000 between them.
If the numbers are indeed true, this means it is the most expensive line-up to date on the show.
High payouts in the past have included £500,000 for Jedward, £400,000 for Katie Price and £600,000 for David Gest.
However, not all of the celebrities in the house this year will be securing deals that high. Fees for smaller stars could even be as small as £10,000 in comparison.
Joining Ray J and Speidi on the 2017 line-up are: Angie Best, Austin Armacost, Bianca Gascoigne, Brandon Block, Calum Best, Coleen Nolan, James Jordan and Nicola McLean, Stacy Francis, Jasmine Waltz, James Cosmo and Jamie O’Hara.
Celebrity Big Brother 2017 continues nightly at 9pm on Channel 5.
