AMC to air free to Sky customers for one week
Premium content channel AMC will be available to Sky customers for free later this month.
From Saturday, October 28th to Sunday, November 5th, AMC will be available for all Sky subscribers to watch for free as part of AMC Showcase week. AMC is currently only available to BT subscribers and Sky customers subscribed to the BT Sports package.
This means that Sky users will have their chance to sample some of the premium content currently exclusive to the channel, including gems such as the third season of Fear The Walking Dead and the premiere of new Rupert Grint-fronted television series Snatch.
Also on the line-up for Showcase week is the linear television premiere of the acclaimed supernatural drama Preacher plus full seasons of Pierce Brosnan Western The Son, martial arts drama Into the Badlands and comic thriller Hap and Leonard.
AMC UK President Mike Moriarty said: “Funny, thrilling, epic, ground-breaking and unique, we’re looking forward to showcasing a great line-up of shows that will appeal to a wide range of audiences.”
BT TV Content and Business Development Director Tony Singh added: “We’re really excited about our AMC Showcase week: we’ve packed the schedules with premieres and some of our best, binge-worthy shows. For this week, viewers will have the chance to sample the amazing content that our BT Sport customers already have access to, at no extra cost, as part of their BT Sport package on satellite.”
