Adam Arkin To Play Mob Boss On Fargo Season 2
Actor-director Adam Arkin will play a mob boss in the second season of Fargo, it has been announced.
He will take on the role of a “mid-level manager in the Kansas City crime syndicate” as well as his directing duties to the show. He has already signed up to direct both the penultimate episode of the upcoming season and the season finale. Arkin also both acted and directed the FX hit Sons of Anarchy.
The first season of the hit show starred Martin Freeman as a put-upon insurance salesman and Billy Bob Thornton as the madman who changes his life. It was received well by critics and the first season is certified 98% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
The new series will star Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson, Jesse Plemons, Brad Garrett, Jean Smart, Michael Hogan, Jeffrey Donovan and Ted Danson. It will be about a crime syndicate looking to move into North Dakota territory and the crime family that controls that territory. Meanwhile, an ordinary couple is caught in the crossfire.
